This morning began with a gentle neck rub to wake me from a deep/dreamy sleep, just moments before my 8:00 a.m. phone meeting with my friend/business mentor. One of the key points that came up in our discussion was about stepping out before finding the courage to make that step. It may seem a little bit off centre, since we often have the courage to step out. But in my case, I need to step out and then I will find the courage for the next step.

Today the card I selected was Trust and Faith
(the following is a direct excerpt from the book by Kimberly Marooney called Angel Love)
And Immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him, And said unto him, "O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" ~ Matthew 14:31
The angels Trust and Faith respond to the cry of your soul for a deeper connection with the source. Faith comes from the soul, from a part of you that just knows. Go to the place in your soul that has unshakable faith.
Trust comes from the mind and heart. You decide to trust and then take an action to support the decision. Trust can be lost when something unwanted happens, but faith is a quality of the soul and never leaves you. You can always rely on faith. Greater faith can be found by deciding to trust and by taking actions that will lead you to experiences of faith.
What is happening in your life that is demanding that you find greater trust and faith? What is making you fearful and causing you to doubt? What doubts are closing our heart? God truly knows your needs before you do and tries to provide what's needed before you know you need it. Do you recognize the assistance that is coming to you? If you don't have a relationship with God or Jesus, find something greater than yourself that you can feel in your soul. It doesn't matter what words you use to describe the benediction of spirit.
The mind will never understand the mighty ways of God. Instead search for the openness to trust and to receive without understanding. When you are in doubt, don't give up. Recognize you are encountering doubts and push thorough them. With faith, it's possible to make it through anything, for faith comes from the truest part of your being.
The need to survive creates doubt and pulls you away from God. Have trust and faith that God will give you the ability to take care of what's needed for your survival. The Lord provides everything to accomplish what he is asking. Information, connections, supplies, and everything that's needed can come to a faithful heart. Be alert. When the spirit wants you to have something, the gift often comes in ways you are not expecting and arrives before you know you need it.
Reach out for the hand of Jesus as St. Peter did, or for the hands of the angels Trust and Faith. Trust the faith of your soul and take the needed steps. Take actions that literally pull the doubts off you like pulling off a sweater. Focus on the desire to get rid of those doubts. Seek truth. The greatest benediction of trust and faith is a personal experience of unconditional love. With your hand in the hand of the spirit, you can have a personal experience of love.
Actions to Attract the Angels Trust and Faith
- When you are troubled by doubts, play the song "Get Off My Back" by Bryan Adams from the movie soundtrack spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and dance the doubt off your back. Ask Jesus or the angels to take your hand and pull you out of doubt and into faith. Keep dancing until you feel some trust or faith and can do what you need to do.
- Take a leap of faith. Call a friend and describe what you are doing to find greater trust and faith.
- Meditate or dance to "personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode on Violator or "all Fired UP" by Pat Benatar on The Very Best of Pat Benatar and let the power of the conviction within the music fire up your faith. While you are in that feeling, open your heart and offer your hand to the angels, asking for a personal experience that will increase your trust and faith. Your endeavor will create a time when everything falls in line for you, allowing you to experience a depth of connection in which your wounds can be healed by faith.
Here are the other two videos for the songs she mentions.
"Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode
"All Fired UP" by Pat Benatar on The Very Best of Pat Benatar
Today, as I move on with my other tasks and responsibilities, I will reflect upon this. Instead of saying "How will I do this?" I will step out in Faith, and Trust that I am doing the right thing.
Until tomorrow,
Loralee
